The Cold is Back...YES!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. My cold weather is back! I LOVE IT! Deceptive sun hiding the cold fact that everything is not as it seems. Darkness slowly weaved its way back into the early evening and the leaves have been colorfully telling us that it's time for them to hibernate. Fall is fully upon us. I too can physically feel the change. I find myself saying when the heck are we going to "fall back" and get our extra hour of sleep. No matter how early I go to sleep, the last two weeks I've been waking up groggy like I could use another hour. Damn that George Bush for messing with Daylight Savings Time. I'm still confused as to the logic of messing with the system. Is his plan suppose to save energy or something. I was so confused last year trying to understand it all.

Anywho, it's late. I better wrap up. I'm feeling really hip and sexy right now. Even going to try and wear my heels again despite the slight foot pain I still have. Will try to revisit post during lunch.

Hodgepodge

So I know I didn't get anywhere close to visiting my thoughts yesterday. Research projects at work have me busy and lately when I get home it's been busy with other stuff too. Since I only have about five minutes here are some quick hits:

Sarah Palin: I can't believe i'm going to say this but i'm actually defending her in the last news story I read about her and the travel expenses she billed to the state for her family's travel. If you were running for the Presidency or Vice Presidency, wouldn't you want your family to experience some of the excitement with you? It's not like one runs for any elected office every day. However, with that said, these folks do make enough money to pay their own ride. I'm tired of us Jane sixpacks footing the bill for everything! If the Republican party can afford to spend over $100,000 dollars on a new designer wardrobe for Palin, then the Palins should be able to afford airfare. Second note...she NEVER should have gone on SNL! She's already perceived as "coached and not informed". Why highlight that?!? We already know she has a sense of humor since we have heard all of her two speeches!

Obama: I pray that his grandmother will have a productive recovery whatever she her ailment. We are so close to seeing him named President of the United States. What a proud moment it would be for her to witness.

Times up...I have so much rattling in my brain. OH...remind me to tell you about yesterday when one guy kept calling me J. Lo. I got quite a few "cat calls"yesterday. Another stopped me on the way out of the train station. Sometimes it's nice to get noticed. I know I was dressed conservatively yet stylish and felt good. I'll get into more details later. You know the drill...gotta go.

William Shakespeare and Life

Ever feel like you are living a Shakespearean play? I do sometimes. Will explain when I take lunch today.
