Pain Pain Go Away...Don't Save it for Another Day!

I slept pretty darn good last night. I was tired. Keeping myself busy as usual. Still in search of affordable or free foreign language classes. I found a training group to walk/run with in the park so that's good. Will keep me even more motivated especially since I now have severe pain in my right heel. If I were a podiatrist and had to guess I would say this is plantar fascia...a heel spur. Since I'm self diagnosing because my stupid, former employer is dilly dallying with COBRA paperwork and I can't go to a doctor yet, I would most definitely say it's a heel spur. For a bunch of lawyers they really are stupid, selfish people. How hard is it to mail paperwork in a timely manner? They do it all the time for filings It's not difficult. They just don't care. Instead they draft my paperwork one week, sit on it for two, and then send it regular mail even though it is time sensitive. How ironic considering the mission of the organization is to assist low income populations. I digress when I shouldn't waste time thinking about them.

As for the foot pain...all of the symptoms fit. Pain especially in the morning...yup, Pain late at night when relaxing...yup, just over all pain after moderate to intense walking or running...yup! Dammit to hell! Going to have to work around it until I can get in to see Dr. L mid-May. In the meantime it's forge ahead. Not much time left until the race and I want to make sure I finish run/walking in a decent time. Right now under four hours sounds good in my head. So far I've been pacing at a 15 minute walking mile but who the hell knows what will happen since I am not trying to injure myself where I can't even do the race. Also have to kick up into high gear with the fundraising component. I don't want to have to keep trying to raise the minimum requirement (($1,100) right up to event day. Just want to focus on accomplishing this next goal.

I better get going since I have errands. Have to go to the post office to mail back even more COBRA paperwork (return receipt requested of course and gee...guess what, I can afford the three bucks to do so...wouldn't want a group of lawyers to spend that getting the stuff to me...lol...I digress again). Also have to head to the cleaners to have several pairs of pants altered in the waist as usual. Guess it's good having a smaller waist but I always have to buy for hips and thighs...damn those dangerous curves...ha ha. More later in the evening after walking.
