The Medicare Mess

I got into an in interesting debate with my father last week about the Medicare mess. I keep telling him that if I make it to the government's retirement age for my group, which is 67 years of age, medicare will not be in existence. He refuses to believe that. I told him that according to government projections medicare will be insolvent by 2017. Again he refuses to believe that. I'd be amazed if medicare still has money in the system by 2014! I have to go now but will pick up this post midday and tell you more about the debate we had.
