Busy Week

Somehow I have ended up in the city every single day this week and today will be no exception. Monday was an interview for a position that sounds like a perfect fit for me. Full time gig. Tuesday was a JAB meeting. Wed was the special screening of Definitely, Maybe with Q&A with Adam Brooks. Had a late dinner with L afterwords. Thursday was time spent applying for my visa. Friday was another interview for a p/t gig and then picked up my passport from the consulate. Met up with L for hot cocoa. Today is the Chinese New Year show at the music hall. Busy Week indeed! So I landed the p/t associate position and start on Monday. Only 21 hours a week but any type of financial stream is good for me! I'm actually excited at the possiblity of what I can do in this short term assignment. I'll be working on a special event surrounding what will be a very hot Broadway show in the spring. Very exciting to be able to use my love of coordinating! It would be great if things work out the way L thinks they will. She thinks the p/t work works well since I will be going away again in April. Then she says when I come back I will go right into the full time job that was arranged before I went on the trip. From her lips to God's ears! LOL. I had to cancel Monday with Miriam and I was really looking forward to seeing her but work calls and I do need the money. O.K. I better get going. More when I get back later or tomorrow.
