Who the hell is Sarah Palin

McCain will lose this election. I had a slight feeling he was going to select a woman to run on his ticket. Palin, who almost the same age as Obama, is highly intelligent. It's ironic that McCain kept slamming Obama stating he was "not experienced" yet Palin is in the same boat practically. She just became Governor of Alaska less than two years ago. It will be interesting to see how the Obama camp acknowledges McCain's pick for veep.

In a way, in my opinion this election season is somewhat of a blow to women. While it's great to see that we are able to run for the two highest offices in the U.S., it's also a slap in the face that we are being used as sacrificial lambs to get a confident leader (Obama) into the White House. Even Michelle plays her part. It goes back to the fact that gender has to be undermined in order to deal with the race card in this particular election.
