Silence is Golden

Only have about five minutes for this post since I have a drs. appt and have to leave in 15 minutes.

You know what I realized the other day? That for about the last five weeks or so, I have been getting dressed in the morning in silence. Normally I listen to music or the news but I've been in this zone of silence for a good bit...and it feels good. In a way I think it primed me to better deal with the zone of silence at night when I come home. Since I basically don't have any friends who have any time whatsoever to call me (that's their excuse), I find myself continuing to fill my time with even more things that I want to learn. I waited too long to sign up for swimming (the class I wanted was filled) so I have to wait a few more weeks for the next group of class offerings. In the meantime, it gives me the opportunity to review my financial management notes and order the book that I had borrowed for the semester (since I couldn't afford the $100+ price tag for the book) Still can't really afford it but it's worth the investment to now own the book. Oh my...time's a tickin. Better go. Will try to revisit this post tonight. Oh...btw..the wedding was beautiful...monsoon weather but wedding and reception was beautiful. More later.
