That's how many steps I took today...10,648. Translates to about four and a half miles. Haven't cracked the recommended 10,000 steps in a really long time. Of course my ankle is sore and I'm starting to feel a bit cranky but I'm proud of today's accomplishment! I made it a point to get up from my desk and walk down the hall and back many times. I took the stairs down (not up yet...lol) the five flights, walked to the train station during lunch to fill my metrocard and ended up walking a bit more to the store. Walked back. Walked to workout. Worked out. Walked home. Took a really long hot shower. Now only to keep that up four to five days a week. Consistency is the key. Have to stay motivated. Only 101 days left. I'm so behind on fundraising. Only three friends have supported. Guess everyone else is too busy to even commit financially. It's ok though. Just reminds me who is really supportive and who isn't. If people don't have time to call, don't have time to meet up for a cup of hot cocoa or iced coffee, don't have time to go online and help out a friend and a cause...then what the hell do they have time for? Makes me wonder considering all of the folks I've helped out, bought gifts for their kids, birthdays, just because, etc. Oh well...can't think about it. Keep the few who care, make new friends and keep going. Met another trainer at the gym. He'll call me tomorrow and hopefully he will be able to help me even further. He is a hottie so having good eye candy always helps..LOL.

Looks like thunderstorms are moving into the area for tonight and tomorrow morning but will be done by 2pm so it will be an excellent night for the gala. I have triple duty so I will be busy for sure but I'm looking forward to helping and meeting new people. Still haven't decided which dress to wear but either will look great. For what it's worth I've been feeling pretty darn hot lately...and I mean as in "I'm bringing sexy back" hot...LOL. Haven't been out on any more dates in a couple of weeks and the funny thing is I don't care. In some strange way it doesn't matter anymore to me if there is a lid to my pot or not. Not sure why I don't care anymore...just don't. Will have to think about it and evaluate later.

I'm tired and really should get to bed since tomorrow will be a very long day. First put in a couple of paid working hours and then some more volunteer hours at the event. It's going to be a really great day. I can feel it. OK. More maybe tomorrow morning if not perhaps Friday with a picture. Have to remember to take my camera so somebody can take a photo of me. Eyes starting to close. Better go.
