The Bachelorette

O.K. So it's a bit late so this post of course will be brief but I do have several comments about the ABC program "The Bachelorette". I never watch the show except for the final one and every time I see these final "decision" shows I can't help but think that it comes across so forced and fake. While I'm not saying that two people can't fall in love in a heartbeat, tonight's episode and new pairing just seems so fake to me. I'll explain more in detail tomorrow. I think all this relationship/breakup news (Brinkley and A-Rod) is really telling about our society and in a word, pathetic. The lead story on all news outlets throughout the day and this evening were that of A-Rod's pending divorce and the Brinkley drama. I cannot believe that some news director put those stories as the lead over the attempted rape in Westchester and the fire in Bushwick. Really. More tomorrow.
