Interview City

It's late so I'll have to elaborate tomorrow. Had another really positive interview today. This one will be a fast decision. I should hear by tomorrow if I am still a candidate. The director of development actually told me I was a surprise third candidate as she had already narrowed down to two when she came across my resume submission last week. I feel honored. Let's see what happens. Its a tough job market all the time. Funny extra tidbit, when I checked my voicemail after the interview, the director of development from the position I interviewed for on Tuesday called asking me to come in tomorrow for a second with the ED of their organization. Way cool! I am really leaning towards that particular position more than the one today because of the energy of the space and job description. Both are great positions but one focuses more on children than the other. That's the area I want to be in. There are many personal and professional reasons why. It's going to be hot as hell tomorrow. Normally I would stay in my nicely cooled space with my feet propped up on the sofa. My interview is at high noon. LOL. How fitting. I have the perfect print sleeveless summer dress with an oh so cute shrug! Can you say alliteration. Ha ha. I feel good about both positions. I think I will get an offer for both. Let's see what happens. O.K. better get some sleep since I haven't been sleeping through the night the last few weeks.
