Field Trip

I slept really well considering that we lost an hour and I had to get up early...that's a good thing. Today we travel to Trinidad and Tobago as part of our week long field trip into understanding another culture's racial relations. It will be interesting to see first hand the differences between the Afro-Trinidadians and Afro-Indians. Readings are one element but actually witnessing and experiencing it another. Since my group will be working on Tobago as part of the white paper, we will have only one day to really gather qualitative analysis as compared to everyone else who will have four days in Trinidad. I have been looking forward to this trip. It is always fun to me to go and explore. I better go since I have to be at the airport at 9am to meet the group. Here's to another great adventure!
